About Dan Littler

I have a sporting background, highlighted by my Master’s degree in Sport Performance Analysis, building on my Bachelor’s in Sports Science. These educational experiences have fostered a deep passion for data and strengthened my analytical skills. I have presented to professional sports scientists in preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, produced data-driven video and written reports, and delivered analytical insights for various sports teams. Currently, I remain involved in the sports industry from a business perspective as a key member of the Silvermere Golf Store Retail Office team. Silvermere Golf and Leisure holds the distinction of being the busiest golf retailer in Europe, with an annual turnover of £15 million. In my role, I support core operations by handling and optimising the online presence of the business across three e-commerce platforms, ensuring a smooth user experience. Additionally, I work closely with the marketing team to assist with ongoing website design and content updates, driving engagement and enhancing brand visibility I have independently learnt Google AdWords, leveraging data-driven strategies to optimise campaigns. This initiative has saved the company thousands of pounds each month by eliminating the need for external services, while simultaneously increasing online sales. Additionally, I oversee stock control for thousands of hardware products and soft goods using an integrated system, ensuring inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
