I have served commercial real estate investors single-asset and multi-asset trades, financings, and equity transactions for nearly twenty years. At First American Title Insurance Company’s National Commercial Services Division, I am fortunate to lead our DC-based team of highly-skilled title and escrow professionals, providing best in class title and closing/escrow services throughout the United States. During my years in private practice I advised institutional equity and debt investors in commercial real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing, mortgage financings, and equity financings. As acquisition and disposition counsel, I've handled purchases and sales of nearly every asset type, with deep experience in hospitality assets, mixed-use, 1031 exchanges (nearly $1.5 billion of relinquished and replacement property closed), portfolio transactions, title risk and title risk mitigation.
