With over 17 years of experience in the marine industry, I hold an STCW Master 200 CoC, BML T1L2, RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructor, and Lift Supervisor qualification. My career spans a diverse range of roles, including dredging, dredge support, workboat operations, towing, survey, and vessel delivery, with hands-on experience across various vessel types up to 65 metres LOA, both in categorised waters and at sea. As a highly skilled vessel handler, I am proficient with conventional single/twin shafts, steerable propellers, Schottel systems, and CPP. I take great pride in being a safety-conscious, approachable, and capable Master, with a proven track record of maintaining high operational standards while prioritising the safety of my crew, vessels, and the marine environment. My passion for the maritime industry extends to training and mentoring the next generation of seafarers. I strongly believe in the importance of knowledge sharing to improve the safety and efficiency of crews, ships, and operational practices. I am always open to offering guidance, addressing safety concerns, and confident in challenging practices when necessary. I also value constructive feedback and am committed to embracing new ideas to continuously improve safety and efficiency.
