About Dan Maruo

Originally from Gothenburg, Sweden, I've called Nagoya, Japan home for over 20 years. Now having moved back to Sweden with my family, I'm looking for job opportunities in Sweden - Gothenburg or Stockholm. I am currently enrolled at Hermods Yrkeshögskola, studying International Business Logistics with a focus on Green Management to further develop myself when it comes to the Logistics field of work. I have extensive experience in warehouse logistics/management, the quality department, and leading teams. Having worked the last 16+ years at one of IKEA's distribution centres in the Asia Pacific region, I've been able to operate in various environments, switching seamlessly between Japanese, Swedish, and English. I enjoy opportunities to streamline processes through technology and effective communication, as well as contributing to a collaborative environment within teams and in the company.
