About Dan Mayer

A proven consultant, with over 30 years experience across almost every sector and segment of the IT industry and stack, I have been lucky enough to work almost exclusively at or for global household names. For nearly 20 years of that experience I have worked with various cloud services, including creating and building public clouds and service models for service providers, working with clients to smooth their transition into cloud and to better shape the cloud products we offered. In previous roles - I designed the end to end IT, CCTV and network infrastructure for the world's largest sporting event in Qatar I led architecture and development for the largest Tibco estate in Europe I was the Architect and technical service owner of the UK's first IL2 accredited, and internet accessible, IAAS public cloud. At some of the worlds largest companies I gained experience in consulting, architecture, pre and post sales, to existing and new government & public sector clients. On bid pursuit / new business, as a solution architect to new and existing clients & projects, and on day to day operations / service management.
