Over 15 years’ experience in the design and manufacturing field, predominantly working within the waste and recycling industry. I am formally trained in Lean Manufacturing, which has given me the skills to continuously improve processes, workflows and ultimately increase efficiency and decrease waste in the workplace. As Engineering Manager, my responsibilities include:*Design reviews and guidance for both internal stakeholders and external stakeholders *Management of resource, scheduling and task allocation *Setting scalable team structures to handle varying workload *Writing procedures and ‘Design Guidelines’ to be used both as internal training material and setting a standard way of working *Overseeing the management of design engineers and structural engineers on simultaneous multimillion dollar jobs to ensure deliverables were met to the required quality, budget and delivered in a timely manner *Setting budgets and reporting on how the team tracks to those budgets
