About Dan McDonough

After the acquisition of my student housing telecom company by Boingo (NASDAQ: WIFI) in 2018, I couldn't stop thinking about what a truly delightful internet experience should look like in conventional multi-family. So I created Elauwit Connection to empower property owners and REITs to deliver unparalleled internet experiences for their tenants — while enhancing their buildings' total connectivity and developing new revenue streams. At my former company, I served as chairman of Elauwit Networks, a company I founded in 2002. I led the expansion of the company's footprint for delivering internet service from a few states to more than 40, surpassing more than subscribers in early 2017. After exiting the company, I served as a strategic adviser to the chairman and two chief executives of Boingo. I also serve as managing partner of Baron Hunter Group, where I lead the firm in its strategic consulting and business management engagements, optimizing companies and not-for-profits on a global scale. I also serve as chief executive and founder of Endurance Financial - a debt fund focused on infrastructure and real estate investments. In all of these activities, I derive happiness from empowering others to unlock their complete potential, helping bring their offerings to a larger market.
