About Dan Miller

As Manager of Talent Acquisition at Bruce Power, I provide strategic leadership for all aspects of recruitment across one of the world’s largest nuclear generating sites. My mandate spans internal and external hiring for engineering, operations, maintenance, EPS, and other critical business areas, while also overseeing our flagship Student Program, which welcomes more than 100 students annually. By aligning recruitment strategies with business needs, I ensure Bruce Power continues to attract, develop, and retain the highly skilled talent required to power Ontario’s clean energy future. I am passionate about building sustainable talent pipelines and shaping early career experiences that connect students and graduates with meaningful opportunities in nuclear. Through campus recruitment and community partnerships, I help position Bruce Power as a top employer for young people and a destination for those seeking impactful careers in clean energy. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Nipissing University, where I captained the Varsity Men’s Volleyball team for three years. These experiences strengthened my leadership, resilience, and teamwork skills — qualities I continue to bring into my professional career. Beyond my academic foundation, I have pursued certifications in Lean Green Belt, Sport Experiential Learning, and Organizational Development, and co-founded Athleadership, a program that equips student-athletes for life beyond sport.
