It's how I show up everywhere.Professionally, I’m a modern marketing professional who believes in marketing that works for smarter growth. Humans do business with other humans they get to know, like and trust. That trust comes through connection, help, and engagement; it doesn't come via annoying ads, interruptions and unexpected cold calls or unwanted texts and DMs. Build trust by creating engaging, relevant, contextual conversations that serve your audience, and you can convert website visitors into contacts, leads and eventually trusting (and delighted) customers.For my day job, I love helping folks figure out marketing, sales, and service solutions, with a specific focus on HubSpot.Podcasting is a passion as well. Shows I have created, produce, host or co-host include The Storytellers Network, Wayfinding Growth, LearnUp with Impulse Creative, and I’m Not In An Abusive Relationship. I've also freelanced as a podcast host for shows including Leverage to Scale, StoryMatters, Agency Rockstars and The Greatest Places to Work (thanks to Up My Influence). Finally, as a servant leader I volunteer, helping to make a difference in the lives of those around me. This involves sitting on boards of directors that serve domestic & sexual abuse survivors, voting rights, and my local library. I also fight for anti-racism efforts, serve veterans, help rub a Parents of Pride resource group and give to various causes. Community involvement is important to me and something I want to model for my children (who are now adults) and others.
