About Dan Murby

I began my insurance career in 2008 as a Claims Adjuster handling automotive liability claims for MetLife Auto & Home. I moved to MEMIC Indemnity Company in 2011 as a Compensation Associate handling Workers' Compensation Medical Only claims. I quickly graduated to Compensation Specialist and handled lost time claims for a dedicated account base across multiple jurisdictions. In September 2015, I accepted an offer to become a Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager with AmTrust Financial Services, leading a team of adjusters handling New England jurisdiction claim files. In January 2020, I successfully applied to become the Technical Specialist supporting the Eastern Zone. In 2023, I served as the Interim Director of Operations, reporting directly to the Zonal Vice President, for the majority of the year. I returned to the Technical Team in 2024 to support our Chicago, IL office and Assigned Risk group. I recently moved back to the Eastern Zone to support our Nashua, NH and Princeton, NJ offices. My goal is to find the most challenging and rewarding career for me to utilize my significant Workers’ Compensation experience and superb managerial skills.
