Databases – I have used several RDBMS systems requiring design/use of SQL DDL, DML, DCL, and TCL, including the design/use of triggers and stored procedures. I have also worked on a data warehouse project (Sybase IQ). I have experience in both database design, data modeling and SQL coding for SQL Server (2005, 2008, and 2012), PostgreSQL (9.1 – 9.3), MySQL (5.5), Oracle (11g), Sybase, Informix, including triggers and stored procedures. Web Development – I have successfully developed and deployed both static and dynamic websites utilizing standard HTML, Javascript, JSP, ASP and Cascading Style Sheets. Software Engineer – I have applied a systemic, disciplined, quantifiable approach to the development, operation, and maintenance of software including working with customers to produce requirements/specifications, designing from specifications, developing from design, and implementing a software solution. I have designed and implemented software frameworks, and helped to utilize specific software patterns to standardize system functionality across multiple software applications. Implementation included the use of C#(using Visual Studio), and ASP.NET (2.0 and 3.5), Java/J2EE, and C/C++ for the coding languages. I have also created the technical/user specification documents for systems using OO CASE tools and UML design techniques. Requirements and Analysis – Several of my past experiences have included speaking directly with the customer base to produce requirements for the software systems being developed, which I then turned into written specifications and OO design documents. Project Management/Technical Lead – I have been responsible for organizing projects through the entire life cycle from specification to production maintenance. I have been liaison between the customer, vendor and IT. I have successfully lead teams of individuals as well as done the project management tasks associated with planning and tracking of software development.
