About Dan Odea

I combine a voracious reading habit with a love of learning to create a broad-based system of knowledge. That includes systems thinking, which helps me see how relationships between system components, especially how those relationships interact and create something greater than the sum of the parts (emergent properties). My award history and recommendations show my capacity for designing and developing new ideas on a consistent basis. Regarding the "aspiring comic artist", I write well but just started drawing in February 2016; I may need a partner to get my stuff out. Main interests - ecology, geology, biology - education - information privacy, especially personally identifiable information (PII)- political and social science - philosophy and logic - writing both fiction and non-fiction I regularly contribute to my community in most of these fields.
