About Dan Oleary

Welcome to Dan O'Leary Counselling Services, where my experience meets compassion on your journey to mental well-being. I am a Registered Counselling Therapist Candidate (RCT-C) with over 20 years of service in the school setting of teaching and counselling. I bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding to support children, youth, and adults facing various challenges in life. My passion for nurturing the holistic development of youth led me to delve deeper into the realm of counselling for the past 10 years. This combination of teaching and counselling experience allows me to connect with clients on a profound level. I adopt a holistic approach in my counselling practice. This involves considering the interplay between emotional well-being, physical health, social, & academic spheres to address the needs of each individual. I employ a solution-focused approach, helping clients identify and work towards achievable goals that empower them to overcome challenges. I am passionate about working with children, youth, as well as adults, who are navigating the complexities of mild to moderate anxiety, depression, life transitions, and overall mental well-being. My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their thoughts and feelings, fostering resilience and emotional growth.
