I am currently working with Thunder Bay Community Health Service as the SUD Program Coordinator. I have been working within outpatient SUD/MAT programs since 2013 and have since gained valuable experience in direct patient care and administration of such clinics. There have been multiple trainings that I have completed that give me the skills to better serve this population of people affected by substance use disorders such as; ASAM Criteria, SBIRT, Project ASSERT, and most recently, Mental Health First Aid (Adult). I also hold certifications in - Medical Assistant (AAMA) and Health Coaching (ACE) that give me the upper hand when working in the addiction treatment setting. The work that I am involved in, I am very passionate about, and continue to strive to learn more and break barriers to patients' recovery.
