I am a financial professional with dual citizenship (USA & Venezuela) and 26 years of multicultural business experience, including 21 years performing as a risk based internal/external auditor all over the United States, Canada and Mexico in North America, Venezuela, Argentina and Brasil in South America, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean, UK in Europe, Australia and Qatar, India and Singapore in Asia.This audit performance has had me being office-based in three different countries (Venezuela, the United States and Qatar) while working for different industries which included a Multinational Tobacco Company, a Public Accounting Firm, a Consumer Foods Corporation, an Aluminum Smelter Company and lately, an Aerospace Global Organization.My financial background also includes Revenue Recognition performance for a global Software organization.All these opportunities have allowed me to gain experience and exposure to both US GAAP and IFRS.My educational background includes a Master of Science in Finance (MSF) and a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. I am also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Venezuela since 1993 and a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors since 2006.My career goal is to keep using my extensive financial experience along with both my multicultural background and my multilingual skills in order to help taking my company to the next level in its global business operations, while adding value to my company’s shareholders.Specialties:(Core experience): Finance, Compliance, Operational and SOX audits under both US GAAP and IFRS(SOP) 97-2, Software Revenue Recognition (Languages): Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) along with a deep proficiency in reading/understanding Portuguese which allows me to professionally perform on the 3 main languages in the whole Americas (International): Expatriate experience (Software applications' proficiency): SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Teammate, ACL, Idea, Microsoft Office Suite
