Full-time musicologist at innovative AI composition company DAACI. Freelance writer, focusing on music, film and business. I've written for Kerrang, Business Insider, Total Film, The Motley Fool, Metal Hammer, Digital Spy, TheMostRadicalist, All About The Rock and many more. Composer. Currently working on the score for the short film, Sometimes I Dream In Technicolour. I also compose the music for my experimental / post-rock / prog band, Beatrix, who released our self-titled debut EP in 2024 and are working on our first full-length album, Planet Head. I play drums, piano, acoustic guitar and backing vocals in the band, and mix all of our music. Gig photographer. I've shot shows at Wembley Arena and the o2 Arena, as well as multiple festivals (Bloodstock, Wide Awake, On Blackheath). Teacher of piano, drum kit, guitar and music theory for almost ten years. Graduated with a first class music degree and a masters in composition from the University Of Surrey. Lover of music in just about every capacity, travel (I've spent some of the last year exploring South East Asia and Japan), playing and watching football, video games and animals.
