About Dan Pino

I am a highly motivated Director of Quality Control and Assurance with a strong urge to better not only myself, but also my team. I’m a firm believer that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. I was taught the importance of a strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, loyalty, and compassion at a very young age, and have modeled my career around those characteristics. Over the last 25+ years in manufacturing I've learned the importance of creating a teamwork environment while driving continuous improvement in the areas of policy, procedure, & process. I’ve built and maintained strong relationships with employees and suppliers. I have broad experience in all aspects of Quality Management Systems, direct experience with the processes of CSST, pipe fitting, narrow fabric, filter, and substrate production, as well as experience with incoming raw material inspections, product realization & testing, and final inspections. Perhaps my biggest personal accomplishment during my career was earning my BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management from the Florida Institute of Technology while working full time. To be honest, this was one of the most difficult things I’ve done. In addition to working full time, I continued to coach my kids in at least two sports a year while going to college full-time. There were many sleepless nights, but I was determined to earn my degree and show my kids that dedication and hard work does pay off. Outside of work, I’m a fun-loving family man who has a strong passion for muscle cars! Specialties: Lean/Six Sigma applications; AS 9100, ISO 9001, & ISO 14001 auditing; employee and supplier relations; & supplier quality.
