About Dan Pollard
It's been 40 years in the business this year. It's been fun and the journey continues. I've worked as a DJ, newsreader, assignment editor, host and a sportscaster in both radio and television. I'm now combining a number of favourites to bring a professional blend to local radio in York Region and North Durham Region. I’m the morning man at a new radio station 93.7 K Country in Keswick Ontario and the afternoon host at 105.5 Hits FM in Uxbridge Ontario. I am also the GM and work in sales. Helping local businesses and charities succeed is as exciting as anchoring the national radio sports desk at CBC during the Olympics and Pan Am Games. Interviewing local newsmakers is as rewarding as calling games live in Athens during the Olympics or interviewing NHL stars while at the NHL Network. It’s about giving back and spreading the word to help people succeed. It’s about helping others into the spotlight to let them shine. In many ways it is the most rewarding part of the journey so far.
