About Dan Profir

With dual academic background - Linguistics (MA in Applied Linguistics) and Performing Arts (BA in Theatre and Film Acting and Directing), experience as a professional actor and director in Romania and France (1988-1992), perfectly trilingual in Romanian, French and English, Dan settled in the UK in 1998, where he started his activity as an educator, voice actor, voice trainer, motivational coach and, since 2015, filmmaker and producer. After working for several companies, in 2005, Dan started his own venture - Red Cat Studios and set-up a creative team in Southampton (GB). Implementing the same successful business model, in 2015, Dan merged his company with Romanian media specialist BBS Media, adding the power of a young team of filmmakers to create brand focused video strategies for Manufacturing Brands. In 2021, Red Cat Studios Group opened their office in Budapest, setting up a team of video post-production, offering Dolby 5.1 and 7.2 sound mix for most demanding audio and video productions. RCS Group helps today corporations and manufacturing brands in the UK and worldwide do an effective job building deep connections and lasting brand engagement with their customers, so that they can launch and sell new products. RCS is both a creative and a production company, with a “hands-on” approach based on years of success and, above all, with a sound “first-hand” understanding of the manufacturing market’s discerning tastes. Besides running his own company, Dan always had a special interest in education in general and alternative education routes in particular. Disciple of the late Sir Ken Robinson and Prof. Peter Grey, Dan got involved in education research, promoting the Self Directed Education (SDE). In 2016, he co-founded Self Experience Academy, in Otopeni (Romania). In 2020, Dan became resident of ASGARDIA - the first Space Nation becoming very quickly parliamentarian and subsequently being nominated Minister of Youth and Education in the Government of Asgardia. His vision about education inspires today the citizens of the new space nation, over 1.2 million people from all over the world, in view of the soon to come Space Exploration Era
