I’m an in-the-trenches IT executive leading technical teams to excellence and complex projects to success. I have a strong background in managing complex IT projects including enterprise-wide modernization and multi-year, multimillion-dollar data center relocations. With 15+ years of success in building solid technical teams, stabilizing IT operations, and resolving business obstacles with cost-saving solutions, I have a proven track record of utilizing technical skills as well as leading IT departments. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS • Orchestrating project scope, timelines, goals, budgets, and execution of five relocations for Tier data centers to PCI and SOC-certified Tier IV/IV+ facilities with uptime. • Establishing and deploying Disaster Recovery data centers as well as introducing active backup and monitoring systems for multiple data centers. • Directing the migration of 20+ AWS Virtual Private Clouds and 175 associated servers in 90 days with little to no interruptions in service after corporate merger. • Developing corporate strategy to move applications from a private cloud server to the public cloud using containers. My early career also includes being a Database Administrator, a Systems Administrator, and a Systems Engineer. as well as having teaching experience as a Mathematics Instructor at both the college and high school level.
