Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is, His good pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12.2 I’m not an expert in the Bible but I see the wisdom in this scripture. I found myself in the same trap as many, going through the motions in a career and life without any true direction. I had conformed to the patterns of this world… Thanks to the hard work, grit, passion and support of my wife, we’ve been basically retired since February 1st 2018. At 36 years old I was able to walk away from a position and career that I enjoyed to be able to invest those 50-60 hours a week into my family vs spending the best hours of my days with others. Our parenting philosophy is that “our ceiling is our children’s floor!” That means that we must be around and present with our kids to be able to guide, coach and challenge them. I call it "Family Freedom.” The freedom we have to co-parent our 4 kids on our own schedule and not have a 9-5 job limit our time together. FAMILY is OUR LIFE and owning our own business has given us this freedom. I’ve spent more time with my family than I ever dreamed of over these last few days AND while our kids are still in our home. We’ve been able to invest in their lives during such an impactful and important time creating memories that they will have forever. As business owners and passive income investors we help families along the same journey that we took many years ago. Our kids got their parents back from the grind of the 9-5 and our business has given us an amazing sense of purpose, abundance and community that we never dreamed of.
