NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS •Project Management:Seneca Niagara Falls Casino opened in 100 days, and just over a year later Allegany Casino opened in 120 days. Opened 2 4 Diamond Luxury Hotels within a year of each other, and 3 months after the Allegany Hotel opening, our temp Buffalo property was opened 1 day after receiving approval. Completed 2 separate AS400 upgrades within budget and tight time constraints. Successful transition of a live slot floor with minimal impact to patrons/revenue. •Infrastructure:Multiple infrastructure equipment deployments within days of MDF/IDF construction turnover. Worked with Verizon for installation of multiple DS3 & T1 circuits to the rural Allegany area within 3 months. Dev initial BC plans that incorporated microwave technology between properties(83 miles), would provide additional internet access, data replication, and VOIP capabilities during normal business operations. The plan utilized multiple Cisco 6500 core switches, MDFs and DS3 circuits existing between properties to replicate data with Vision Echo2, EMC, & Nexsan HW/SW solutions. •Day to Day Operations:Systems supported 3 properties operating 7x 24 with over sq ft of world-class gaming containing 6,500 Slots, & 140 Tablegames. In addition, the systems supported over 800 hotel rooms, with sq ft of professional meeting/conference space and 10 restaurants/bars. with min IT staff. Implementation of Policies and Procedures regulating for gaming (MICS) and SOX certification. As noted in Vol1Issue1.pdf article:I served as my VP’s right-hand and, “has an extensive background in both (IT and Gaming) and keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly”. •Procurement:Vendor/Manufacture negotiations to save 15% on $2.5mill AS400 upgrade project. Worked with procurement depart. to negotiate 2-3 year metric-based contract with key system’s vendors to speed up acquisition process by 40-50%.
