About Dan Roberts

In my twenty plus years in the oil industry, I have gained the knowledge to problem-solve operations and facilities effectively and efficiently. I am always looking for new and innovative ways to reduce costs and optimize operations. While employed with TORC Oil & Gas, I was involved with a number of cost-savings and safety-driven projects; for example, I designed and built a nitrogen generation system to be used in our testing facilities for blanket gas. That system has resulted in cost savings of more than annually and it improved the safety of personnel, who had been carrying nitrogen bottles by hand. I also worked with Engineers to redesign flare stack tips in the interest of reducing soot build-up, and thereby the risk of fires, and I have designed chemical ball delivery chutes, which removed the need to climb tanks for batching. Because I am proficient at organizing and prioritizing tasks, delegating work when needed, and taking on mentorship roles, I have become known as a leader in my field. I regularly guide my coworkers through troubleshooting, repair work, and novel, high-pressure situations. As a business owner and operator, I understand the importance of achieving targets and meeting deadlines, and of relating well with a wide variety of customers and clients.
