As founder and CEO of Hackford (hackforddata.com), I’m building the definitive dataset on the people and firms shaping the UK’s financial services sector. From hedge funds to financial advisers, our platform provides market intelligence that helps sales, marketing, and strategy teams identify opportunities, map markets, and engage the right people. I enjoy transforming data into strategic advantage, helping clients find better leads, and gain insights into sectors often hidden behind out-of-date information. With a focus on accuracy, our datasets use the FCA Register and Directory as a foundation, giving our clients the same visibility as the regulators. In my previous role at Beauhurst, I led bespoke research projects on the UK’s high-growth companies, delivering in-depth analysis for investors and public sector organisations. My journey into private company research began at Fast Track, where I developed a keen eye for spotting growth trends. My writing on tech and high-growth businesses has been featured in The Sunday Times and various online platforms. I rely on tools like Python, SQL, Excel, and Tableau to translate complex datasets into insight—and I love to talk about new approaches to sourcing and structuring data.
