About Dan Ross

Started as a process engineer in manufacturing learning the ins and outs of how to work with people and equipment to get things done. Held roles in engineering, health and safety and operations and project management. I transitions from inside the factory to outside managing global assets for a product line as an asset manager. From 2019 to 2020, I lead SABICs Specialties global commercial and supply chain organizations through a separation of a $1.6B business. In addition to leading the global workstreams through the transition, I held the role of Global Business Continuity Leader. The carve out of the Specialties business was completed successfully during the pandemic. Following the separation, I joined the business management teams and collaborating with procurement to identify risks and savings in a supply constrained inflationary time period. While in the role I developed a novel risk management tool to identify high risk raw materials worked with technology on mitigations. Since early 2024, I have been leading our global S & OP team through a successful year delivering as promised more than 95% of the time globally and optimizing inventory globally to best serve our customers.
