About Dan Rutberg

With over 25 years of experience as a business and technology consultant, and 7 years as a senior technology advisor at Rockport, I help organizations evolve in the integration of people, processes, and systems. I focus on security, compliance, and security awareness, overseeing Rockport's security team, security training and testing, and vendor security management program. I also work on special projects such as drafting policies and procedures, staff recruitment, and business continuity planning. As a member of the DevSecOps team, I engage, mentor, and support colleagues in their efforts to exceed external and internal client expectations in support of the mission of the organization. I help colleagues uncover and pursue their professional development objectives, leveraging my strategic planning, problem-solving, crisis management, team building, and project management skills. I have a strong record of success creating resilient IT architectures and infrastructures, and negotiating with vendors and partners.
