About Dan Silver

Dan is a seasoned executive with 15 years of management experience in the sports, broadcast media, entertainment, and gaming fields. He has successfully led more than 100 employees in a variety of roles, including television operations, thoroughbred racetrack operations, marketing, media relations, and public relations. Dan is highly efficient, organized, and adept at handling strategic budgetary, operational and personnel decisions. DIRECTOR OF SALES, MARKETING, AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Starting in January 2018, Dan has a new role with Roberts Communications Network where he will develop and implement sales, marketing, public relations, and business development strategies, in addition to working with RCN's existing customers and establishing new partners – both domestic and abroad. SENIOR DIRECTOR OF TV Dan was rehired in 2014 by NYRA in a newly developed position as director of TV and shortly thereafter elevated to a senior director role. He managed a department of more than 60 employees to produce daily live thoroughbred racing television content being distributed nationally on Fox Sports 2. Handled all departmental budgets and Human Resources matters. DRIVING INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY - NYRA NOW VIDEO APPLICATION Dan served as project manager for the NYRA Now video application, which launched in March 2017 and has had downloads. NYRA Now is a cutting-edge app that allows users to watch live thoroughbred racing from a variety of camera angles, in addition to myriad on-demand content. It was the first app in the thoroughbred racing industry available on all popular platforms, including iPhones, iPads, Android, Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire. HIGHLY RESPECTED BY INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS AND PEERS Dan was named the John K.
