I completed my EY career June 30, 2018, after transitioning my Managing Partner and Microsoft Account Global Lead Partner roles. As Managing Partner, I oversaw and was responsible for all EY services in the Northwest. providing world-class talent, exceptional client service and consistent global execution. As the lead global partner serving Microsoft, one of EY's largest global accounts, I held ultimate responsibility for all services. I have nearly 40 years of experience serving clients, running the business and leading teams. My primary focus was global technology companies…. software, telecom, electronic commerce, medical device and biotechnology. Interaction with Senior Executives and Boardroom involvement was a regular occurrence. From an advisory perspective (19 years), my teams and I focused on finance transformation and performance improvement, transaction advisory (structuring/diligence/integration), accounting assistance, SOX advisory/assistance, project management, marketing/advertising risk/processes, fraud and investigative dispute assistance, and IT risk and control services. From an assurance perspective (20 years), my focus was audits, SEC filings (i.e, periodic filings and Initial Public Offerings), technical accounting matters, as well as extensive involvement with capital transactions, debt arrangements, collaborative agreements, and mergers/acquisitions (due diligence and related advisory services, both acquisition and divestiture transactions). I served on the EY Global Partner Advisory Council (Advisory Board to the Global CEO) and Global Technology Advisory Panel. My commitment to the Community is immense, including past Board service for (among others) United Way of King County, Univ of Wash Foster School of Business, Technology Alliance, National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Seattle Yacht Club.
