I have been in the Building Industry since I was 15 Yrs. old and started as a laborer for my Uncles Concrete company in Central California in the mid to late 80's. I became a licensed Concrete Contractor at the age of 21. I have worked in the Commercial & Residential Sectors early in my career and in the latter part of my career I have mostly done custom builds in the residential arena. Foundations. Flatwork and Structural Walls are my specified areas of Concrete. Over the years of being in the Business of contracting I have accomplished many achievements both personal & career. I have many skills that I can use to either help other businesses or Individuals succeed in the field, I have trained in Safety, Team Building, Plan Reading, Estimating, Excel Spreadsheets, Budgeting, Scheduling, Bookkeeping & Accounting. I built my own Estimating Platform for my Company with the use of Excel with everything from Contracts, Vendors, Overhead, Overall Profit expected, Time sheets, Take-Off sheets including Labor & Man Hours to complete each job, Material prices that are updated Monthly to keep rising costs at a minimum, so losses and profits consistently stay in check. This has 2 purposes, first is to keep the job going and to minimize paperwork that is costly and time consuming and the second is so that estimating can stay continuous with the smallest increases to overall line-item increases. With my Estimating spreadsheet you will know at the end of the workday your bottom line on the job or jobs that are ongoing. The Key component to this is Management, Limit loss to Maximize Gains.
