I enjoy bringing together the data and assumptions required for financial projections of insurance products. Most recently, I have been performing asset adequacy testing for life insurance products. Cash flow testing for asset adequacy testing draws on the diverse experience from my actuarial career. Over the years, I have gained knowledge of insurance products, reserves, experience assumptions, assets, administration systems, income statements, and balance sheets, all of which is needed to fully understand what drives the results of the model projections. I have used the cash flow testing models for forecasting both a Statutory and GAAP basis. Although I am much more proficient in projecting liability cash flows, I have projected asset cash flows too. I am an avid sports fan with baseball being my favorite sport. I feel very comfortable in my home office surrounded by sports memorabilia.
