About Dan Sundwall

Dan has over 20 years’ experience in Global Financial Shared Services and Finance Transformation. Among the skills he possesses are managing and influencing at all levels of large complex global organizations and managing large complex initiatives. He has been acknowledged for his leadership skills in building high performing teams and developing future leaders and subject matter experts. He has skills in international leadership, finance operations, business process transformation, ERP implementations and extensive program and project management experience. He has also built and maintained Key Performance Indicators and other related financial and accounting reporting. Dan has led both on-shore and off-shore Financial Shared Services organizations around the world and managed the migration of work in several different business models. In addition to extensive global business travel, he has lived and worked in The Netherlands and Mexico City. He has utilized his background and skills to consult as a Subject Matter Expert in Financial Shared Services, finance organization design, outsourcing strategies, business process led transformation and leveraged his knowledge of best practices to help several organizations achieve leading practice.
