About Dan Wyman

I am a Regulatory and Environmental permitting professional with 20 years experience in the energy and construction industries. During that time I've repeatedly shown an ability to help major projects navigate the difficult regulatory and social landscapes which exist in today's society. I have successfully progressed some of the largest projects in western Canada through the various regulatory stages from inception and initial engagement, to regulatory applications and public hearings, into the approval stage, and finally through to construction and completion (including management plan development, condition compliance, and post-construction transitions). My approach tends to combine the commercial realities of a project with in-depth analyses of the regulatory, indigenous and public concerns expressed to find solutions and strategies which satisfy the public audience while also meeting the base business needs. By pairing this approach with clear and concise oral and written communications, I have been successful in getting meaningful regulatory results for my employers and clients.
