About Dana Hoegh

I am an LPCC and an NCC professional with a master’s degree in school counseling. I have over 14 years of experience working with youth in the school system and in the home. I would be grateful for the opportunity to share my insights and expertise with others who desire to unite in support of the children of the world. My energy is centered on well-being and supporting others in living a life of value and meaning. My experience with Self-Determination Theory, mindfulness, and Montessori Philosophy have all influenced my own life and the way in which I impact the environment. I am highly driven by persistence, relationships and supportiveness. I have learned to see challenges as a good thing and I am motivated by a strong sense of purpose to support our youth. I value and contribute to a good social working environment, one that supports conscious collaboration and a sense of belonging. I find that others turn to me for encouragement, warmth, optimism and counsel. I am oriented towards seeing the good in humanity and likewise have compassion for our human afflictions. By applying my skills of educating, counseling and leading, I am able to facilitate the deep dive into our inner most self; to the place that fosters motivation, compassion and kindness. As a member of a leadership team I will work to promote vital expressions, such as, “this is me”, “I matter” and “I can face this”. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how in working together, we can best support our youth during this period of great transformation.
