EDUCATION – RESEARCH – WRITING - COMMUNICATIONS Accomplished Research, Writing and Instructional professional with a keen interest in andragogy, the theory of how adults learn best. Working in higher education, I consider all of my students to be adults, even if they are of traditional age. I have a special interest in non-traditional students as well, those who balance work, family, sports, etc. on top of their pursuit of higher education. One of my greatest passions, as a result, is online learning. My own educational background encompasses philosophy, literature, composition, education, and library science. This blend allows me to focus on creating a student-centered, project-learning-based classroom, where I follow Stephen North’s philosophy of creating better writers.
