About Dana Molina

I worked at HACES, working with Immigrants all around the Greater Chicago Area. I've learned about different immigration processes and helped to fill out the necessary paperwork to help get immigration documents. I also help with the front desk, from filing to taking calls to making appointments. I help translate official documents as well and explain what the government requires of them. All of this is done in both English and Spanish. I worked at Discover Financial Services in the Legal Department. I learned how to use Microsoft Suite. I worked more in a corporate setting making presentations, collecting mail, and organizing documents. I helped to file and reorganize hundreds of files. I participated in a college program at Carleton College learning how to code in Python. It was a 3-week extensive course where I was able to live on Campus with dormmates. I worked a part-time job with Sixflags Great America as an Assistant Supervisor managing 5-8 people at a time. I also helped with managing the inventory by doing a daily count. I would work on sales trying to get people to play the games. I want to go into Physics and Aerospace engineering while in College. My goal after college is to go to Law school. My long-term goal is to get my PhD in physics and open up my own Law Firm in Chicago to help immigrants.
