About Dana Roberts

Digital marketing expert with over ten years of experience in health care, education, nonprofit, and film industries. I love analysis and digging into data. During my time in those industries, I received many awards, including the Guardian Angel award at Hamot Medical Center (now UMPC Hamot Medical Center) for my outstanding patient services care and attention to detail. I received the employee of the year award at Phoenix Idea Lab and Cosmopolitan Group in 2012 for my outstanding leadership, Scrum, and Agile skills. Lastly, I received employee of the month three times during my Free To Choose Network tenure for my collaborative, creative, and team-player skills. Data is exciting to me because it tells a story. It might not be the story you wanted or hoped for, but a story nonetheless. Data, unlike many things in this complex world, is genuine, honest, and true. It never alters or lies; it never conforms to what is anticipated or expected; it simply just is. Being a digital marketer, I'm able to persuade, convince, suggest, and almost manipulate a consumer into "buying whatever I'm selling." Which is the opposite of being an analyst. I'm able to efficiently and effectively utilize both sides of my brain to be a powerhouse that conceptualizes fantastic campaigns and a machine that tracks, analyzes, and reports on the outcomes. I'm unusual or rather agile when it comes to leadership and management styles having experience in Scrum and Agile as a Product Owner and a Scrum Master and also working in organizations that use your typical top-down or waterfall styles. When I'm not working on building and growing digital brands, I love to spend my time with my three dogs, with family and friends, being outdoors or being an experimental artist.
