Dana is an experienced legal and strategic leader with a demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal and commercial challenges in highly regulated industries. Dana Saric is Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Neo Financial. In this role, she is responsible for oversight of the Legal, Risk & Compliance portfolios in one of Canada's fastest-growing companies. Prior to her current role, Dana gained ~15 years of experience in private practice at a leading national business law firm and as in-house senior counsel in a publicly listed company. Throughout her career, she was involved in negotiating complex structured financings, cross-border investments, and strategically significant acquisition and joint venture transactions. Dana has completed in excess of $20Bn of capital raised through public and private debt and equity transactions. Dana has honed her governance experience in the community. She serves as a Board Director and Chair of the Governance Committee for each of Calgary Public Libraries network and the Canadian Immigrant Womens' Association. Dana has previously served as a Board Director of Clean Prosperity, a market-based climate advocacy non-profit, and advisor to several private company boards. She has been recognized by IFLR and by The Best Lawyers in Canada in her areas of expertise, and has established thought leadership through publication and presentation of emerging legal and commercial issues.
