About Dana Seflow

I am a strategy focused Information Technology (IT) professional with considerable progressive leadership experience and strong interpersonal and communication skills. I have a broad range of management expertise gained through exemplary and loyal service to customers at all levels. I believe sustained outcomes are achieved through strong relationships and the effective teamwork of talented individuals motivated by a common vision. I have held a variety of different IT leadership positions throughout my career managing virtually every aspect of information technology from strategic planning through daily operational management. I have learned my true passion is working collaboratively with others toward a common goal. I have successfully worked with others from senior leaders to staff across different teams to accomplish those goals. I found that the most challenging of those efforts, and those that brought me the most satisfaction, were those that resulted in quantifiable improvements for those we serve. Those efforts could be as significant as building a consolidated data center to reduce risk or as basic as resolving a single issue for a customer. I am objective and practical in the analysis of people and situations and strive for clear definition of rules, procedures and expectations so all involved can perform their best. It is through relationship building, teamwork and trust that we collectively achieve the best - and intended - outcomes. I take great pride in achieving accomplishments in concert with those around me, yet readily accept ownership and responsibility for those tasks entrusted to me. Individual talent is an important ingredient but accomplishes little without teamwork.
