About Dana Simpson

I am eagerly looking for a position with Acorn Farms. I have an exciting passion for planting trees. I truly love everything about trees; from their beauty to their usefulness. My respect for for what trees provide to us humans is great. I enjoy all aspects of the Horticulture field and I am gaining a variety of information not just trees. My grand desire is to plant trees and immediately because of the length of time it takes a tree to mature. The position that would be perfect for me would be part-time and year round with wages at $12.00/hour. My days available for work our Monday, Thursday to Saturday. I can work up to 24 hours a week. I am currently working at Cat Run Ranch Flower Farm for an internship that ends August 4th. I would like to continue the season with them to end on October 29th. I work there Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I am currently enrolled in Landscape Design and Management at Columbus State with projected completion Autumn semester of 2015. My goal is to have the Associates degree and 2 years of work experience to qualify for the ISA Arborist Examination. I dream of being a Certified Arborist and planting thousands of saplings. I have completed Plant Sciences and Fall Woody Plants. My knowledge of plant material and how to care for them is improving daily. I take notes with spry to maintain the information. I am goal oriented and strive for quality. I am a great team player. I have stellar leadership and customer service skills. I am very excited to learn and effectively apply the knowledge I gain. I appreciate hard work and make an accomplishment out of sweat.
