About Danae Tyus

A sophomore International Business major and Spanish minor at Howard University with a passion for strategy, global business, and hospitality leadership. As a Marriott-Sorenson Scholar, she is building skills at the intersection of business and culture, preparing to lead in industries that thrive on innovation and human connection. On campus, she serves as VP of Scholarship & Awards for Delta Sigma Pi, where she connects members with career resources, alumni, and academic support. She also contributes as Secretary of the International Business Society, strengthening communication, programming, and collaboration among globally minded student leaders. These roles have deepened her belief that the most impactful work happens when collaboration meets purpose. Looking ahead, she is exploring opportunities in strategy and transformation consulting, resort operations, and real estate investment trusts, with the long-term goal of building a career in mergers & acquisitions. Ultimately, she hopes to leverage my global mindset, Spanish proficiency, and leadership background to drive growth across industries while expanding opportunities for underrepresented communities.
