About Dane Englund

Experience spans 30 years of progressive Human Resource experience and ranges from a Director of stand alone Human Resource Department in a small company to a Divisional Human Resource Manager responsible for managing up to 41 Human Resource Managers, as well as managing the Staffing and Development function for a Divisional Merchandising group, 22 districts, and 18 distribution centers in a very large organization. I have extensive knowledge and proven experience in employment law; employee relations; investigating and responding to employee relations issues and claims; organizational planning; organization development; workforce planning; succession planning at region and division levels; learning and development; compensation and benefits; change management; executive and management coaching and development; as well as multi-sight, multi-functional human resource oversight. My experience also includes working with and managing a field sales organization, managing store operations, distribution, manufacturing, as well as functioning in a district operations management capacity. I have served in both a strategic and tactical level and have a demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of management. I have excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; and a demonstrated ability to lead in a very complex and challenging environment.
