About Dane Harris

I have been interested in art all my life. As a child, I was always involved in drawing classes and was even accepted into the St. Louis Art Museum’s Children’s art fair. In High school I continued my love for drawing and painting and attended a community college art class during the summer after my junior year. After high school I was accepted to Cornell College as an art major. At Cornell, I focused my art in the area of photography. During my last year at Cornell, I held a fine art gallery showing called,"Not the Whole Picture." After graduating from Cornell College, I attended the Hallmark Institute of Photography. After Hallmark, I started Harris Photography and Design. I have won numerous Photography awards such as Photographer Forum: Finalist, International Photography Awards: Honorable Mention, Publication in Reptile Magazine. I am also an active part of my community. I am an Ambassador to the Chamber of Commerce, and I am the Director of Marketing for my BNI chapter. In the future I would like to move my business into a storefront studio. I would like to take photos of more weddings each year as well.
