About Dane James

My career started on an internship at Mutual and Federal in 2007. From January 2008 till October 2012 I held Claims Administrator/Negotiator positions at 2 x Insurers, and a brokerage. I handled Recovery, Liability (Motor and Non-Motor), Non-Motor, and Motor Claims on Personal and Commercial Lines policies. I have also had the opportunity to work on Agri Polices, specifically with the machinery. I started at Echelon Private Client Insurance in November 2012. I have held Claims Administrator, Senior Claims Administrator, and Assistant Claims Manager Positions. I am currently IT and Training Manager (Nationally), I am a manager in the Claims Department, and I am head of the Technology Committee. Throughout my career I have been involved in development and implementation of operating systems. At Echelon I have also been involved in general operational development regarding IT infrastructure (Nationally), and CPT branch structures involving staff, operating models, and workflows. I, along with a number of colleagues, have also played an integral role in the development and implementation of operating systems. Upon my promotion to IT and Training Manager I became the head of the Technology Committee, which oversees the development, implementation, and general management of the Operating System. I also manage and administor training nationally for staff and brokers on the OS, IT, and Claims.
