About Dane Prichard

I am a 36 year old man from the Northern Rivers in NSW, I have been working as a community Occupational Therapist since January 2020. I am currently employed at Maintain Independence OT, based in the Northern Rivers of NSW. I am a hard, enthusiastic worker that loves tackling a new challenge, it brings out the best in me. I studied occupational therapy at Southern Cross University, finishing in 2019, where I was lucky enough to have had four practical placements; one in an upper limb rehabilitation and treatment clinic on the gold coast, another at Sutherland hospital in Sydney, where I was working on an acute aged care ward, another at a children and youth mental health service at Toowoomba hospital and finally a placement with the Homeless health Outreach Team on the Gold Coast. I do also have experience working as a disability support worker with various clients on the Tweed and Gold Coast. I love the occupational therapy field and really enjoy meeting new people every week and assisting them in living their best life. I feel I can be a positive contribution to any organisation when given the opportunity, as I am enthusiastic, cooperative and willing to listen and learn from co-workers so that I can be a valued member of the team.
