About Dane Wetterer

I possess the knowledge and skills of IT and communication systems, performance tuning methods, test and evaluation methods and procedures, IT security principles and methods, and project management principles and methods sufficient to plan and coordinate the installation of new products and equipment. I continually collect and analyze data we use here on the facility to measure our effectiveness of our systems including: Network Systems, IDS, Phone and Data Switches, virtual and physical machine use and personnel data. Use spreadsheets to track system data, measurement data, and reports. I use these skills on a daily basis to troubleshoot, analyze, recover, and make necessary adjustments or modifications to improve our systems both old and new to be operable on the same general scale, and solve complex problems and provide support to minimize interruptions in service to our personnel and equipment. I have a Security + certification and know the IT Security principles and products as well as the DOD and agency policies, procedures and regulations related to the physical, personnel, emanations and information security and the methods used for evaluating risk and vulnerability.
