About Dane Wolf
I specialize in mitochondrial research. In the laboratory of Orian Shirihai, I have developed novel approaches for imaging mitochondrial ultrastructure, using advanced live-cell super-resolution microscopy technologies, such as Airyscan and SIM. I also developed novel methods for semi-automated image analysis of mitochondria, including submitochondrial structures, such as cristae and nucleoids. To date, I have published more than 10 peer-reviewed original research articles, including a book chapter. In addition to research projects that I am leading, I continue to work closely with numerous collaborators on various projects related to the role of mitochondria in health and disease.
