About Danel Schultz

I have 19 years of classroom and leadership experience and have been a Grade Level Leader at Aldar Academies as well as a Learning and Teaching Lead at Raha International School, I feel I have the necessary experience and skills to develop teaching and learning in a school, working in collaboration with other leaders, teachers (guides) as well as the parent community to achieve outstanding outcomes for the school and the students. In my current role as Learning and Teaching Lead, I aspire to cultivate a culture of excellence in both the students as well as my colleagues by setting high expectations for the quality of teaching and learning as well as establishing well-thought-through learning environments, for the classroom to become the third teacher. I have ensured that I know the levels of the entire cohort and, in collaboration with my team, plan lessons to support students with an adapted curriculum, those who are working below, as well as challenging those students who work well above grade level. I believe that by moderating learning, we can ensure that we have a professional dialogue about levels as well as consistency across all the classes in the grade.
