About Danelle MacEwen

As a Performance Management Specialist at City of Olympia, I apply my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt skills and knowledge to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of various city functions and services. I have been working in the government administration industry for over 16 years, with a focus on performance management and process improvement. I’ve also developed and worked in energy management, grant research and writing, and strategic planning. I am passionate about finding innovative solutions to complex problems, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and delivering value to the community and my coworkers. I have contributed to multiple projects that have resulted in significant cost savings, energy reduction, and customer satisfaction. I most recently led a multi-million dollar software enterprise software conversion project. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration Management from Washington State University and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications from University of Washington Tacoma. I also have a legal assistant degree from South Puget’s Sound Community College and spent 12 years as a legal assistant for a litigation attorney.
