You can make anything by writing."- C.S Lewis. That goes to show the power of words. I'm an aspiring writer with a love and passion for the English language. Creative by heart and independant by nature, just a writer looking for the opportunity to create an impact. I started working as a cashier when I matriculated, my first job. Then ventured off to work as a Junior Buyer and Senior Stock Controller for one of the biggest companies in South Africa. However, it still wasn't what I wanted to do as to what I considered a "dream job". I started studying a BA Degree in English Creative Writing through UNISA. A few months later, I was offered my first writing job as a Copywriter. Inexperienced as I was, I learned quickly. Creating content, being involved in team briefs, learning about brands and brand communication. Along with that, managing Social Media and conducting monthly reports. It was my first step into the Digital Marketing realm and after a couple of months, it felt like home. Copywriting is a skill that I've been nurturing and tending to for the past couple of years. When I pick up the pen or type away on the keyboard, I'm in my own creative world where the possibilities are endless. If you see my name on a best-selling book, one day just know that I made it and I'm damn proud. Efficient in the Microsoft Package, Pastel Evolution, PC literate and a quick learner.
