Hey there, I’m Dani! I’m a purpose-driven creator and the founder/CEO of The Anti-Boring Project (that part’s pretty new, so it still feels weird to type)! MY STORY In 2018, I created a hand-lettered flowchart called "ADHD Storytelling" that went unexpectedly viral—changing the course of my career from a graphic designer to a content creator focused on cathartic ADHD webcomics and relatable, educational TikToks. My audience seemed to really love my unorthodox advice and creative strategies, so I created “The Anti-Planner: How to Get Sh*t Done When You Don’t Feel Like It”—an activity book with over 165 strategies to help chronic procrastinators overcome emotional roadblocks. I spent roughly hours writing, designing, illustrating, and self-publishing the 328-page chonker (totally worth it). Now I’m founder/CEO of The Anti-Boring Project, a product lab and content studio dedicated to changing the world because many generic "solutions" out there just aren't working for a lot of people, especially neurodiverse ones. I’m passionate about making life easier—and less boring—for everyone! BUSINESS GROWTH I’m facing a massive growth period as my first product, The Anti-Planner, took off immediately and sold over books on my website (with no paid ads). My responsibilities have shifted from solo creator to founder of a small creative startup. I’m dealing with growing pains—learning to manage a team, creating infrastructure, finding talented hires, and staying up late stressing over Big Scary Decisions™. I’ve still got a lot to learn, but I’m excited to stop avoiding LinkedIn and see what this site has to offer. ADHD ADVOCACY I aim to empower individuals with ADHD to understand themselves better, feel a sense of belonging, and explain their struggles to loved ones. My webcomics, viral TikToks, and keynote at the 2021 International ADHD Conference helped establish me as a prominent voice in the mental health community. I’ve been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, BBC News, and The Guardian. My work has helped thousands seek diagnosis and treatment for ADHD. As a public speaker, I’ve presented at large companies like Amazon and Microsoft, spreading awareness and strategies to support neurodiverse employees.
